Sunflower Portrait Session at Dogwood Farms

When summer is about halfway over, Fall starts to show her colors through sunflower and wildflower fields. While temperatures feel as though they are only climbing higher, it gives hope of a cooler season soon to come.

Sunflower portraits are some of my absolute favorite sessions- you can’t help but smile, laugh, and have a good time. Even if you do sweat your butt off! While the sunflowers are no longer around at Dogwood Farms here in Belews Creek, North Carolina, they will be back!

According to their Facebook page, Dogwood Farms will be doing another round of sunflowers just as pumpkin season is gearing up in September. So if you are sad you missed out on these fun minis, have no fear- you have another chance to book them (and during cooler temps!)

But for now, enjoy these shots I took of my friend, Kat Quinn.
