Intimate Backyard Wedding | Mandy & Phil

Virginia Intimate Wedding Photographer

It has been one full year since Mandy and Phil tied the knot. Even with Covid-19 changing all the original plans, their wedding day was still just as beautiful with moments full of tenderness, love, and happiness.

Like most couples who were planning a wedding during COVDI-19, they were devastated when they had to make the decision to change everything about their day. But that didn’t stop them from putting together a new plan so that they could still celebrate with their family and friends.

Mandy had shared a sweet first look with her dad, ending with gifts for both of her parents that had everyone saying “awww!” And Phil had the best help getting ready by sharing some good laughs with everyone around. And on top of that, Mandy was even able to have her own co-workers from Carrabba’s be apart of the day by delivering the food for dinner.

Mandy and Phil may not have had the big wedding that they thought they were going to have when they first started planning, but they had the best wedding they could have had. It was one that reminds you what is important- celebrating with your friends and family.

While the song that Mandy and her dad danced to for their father-daughter dance is more of a song to a father to his child, the snippet of lyrics below fit what I hope for each of my couples. I hope that no matter the road that each couple goes down, they are able to experience the world together.

“I hope you see the seven wonders
I hope you sail the seven seas
I hope you let the whole world in your heart”
