Valentine's Day Styled Shoot

Updated: Feb 20

It's the season of loooooove! And as a wedding photographer, I love it when I get to create a shoot full of love, romance, kisses, dancing, and smiles. I love giving couples the chance to get dressed up, have some fun, get some pictures of them together, and have slow moments to just be together.

This shoot is all about that. I've been thinking more about the intimate weddings, the elopements, and why they mean so much to the couple, and to me as a photographer. I love the chance that a couple gets to just be together during a time of them coming together, celebrating their love and relationship, and just having the time to enjoy each other without all of their friends and family gawking at them the whole time.

Big weddings are great. I had one. I love the fact that you are able to bring everyone from both sides together, introduce them all to one another, and they are all there because of you, the bride and groom. But sometimes, it can be too much for a couple. It can be overwhelming. Or, sometimes, the couple just needs a breather from their normal life of constantly pleasing and being around so many people.

So this shoot was more of a chance to focus on the slow, tender, and romantic moments of a couple just enjoying and celebrating their love. Which should be done often. Not just on the day you get married, your anniversary, or a holiday such as Valentine's Day. But every day.

So, without further a do, here is a sliiiiightly smaller gallery of my favorites from this shoot!
