Families & Groups

“Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family: Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one.”

                                    — Jane Howard

Why families?

My approach

I know you want all of the posed family shots- the ones of you standing shoulder to shoulder, or sitting all prim and proper. You want specific shots of each member with the other members of the family.

But forget the list while I'm around. I will capture the absolute must have shots of your family. But I will also do my best to capture the other moments that happen when I'm around.

I'll capture the piggyback rides, the laughs as jokes are told, and the prayers that are said. I'll capture the sweet baby snuggles, the little girl twirls, and the rambunctious boys.

In the great words of Kacey Musgraves, "Family is family." It doesn't matter if your family is blood or not. If they support you, if they love you, if they welcome you, they're family.

I love weddings, because it brings families together. But I love seeing the after-the-wedding affects. I love seeing a family grow, with children, with friends, with pets... Any way that a family grows, I want to be there to see it happen.

Invite me. Bring me along to the family reunions, the new home celebration, the first few weeks of having a newborn around. Let me capture the precious family moments so you can just enjoy them.
